Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles to transport goods across regional routes
- Conduct pre-trip inspections and maintain accurate trip documentation
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations and company safety protocols
- Load/unload shipments with proper material handling techniques
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and clients regarding delivery status
- Complete daily vehicle maintenance reports and minor repairs
- Participate in continuous safety training and performance reviews
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (Class A or B) or willingness to obtain through our training program
- Clean driving record with no major violations in the past 3 years
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Basic math skills for delivery documentation and route planning
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in various weather conditions
- Strong time management and reliability for on-time deliveries
- Willingness to work flexible schedules including nights/weekends
- High school diploma or equivalent required
