Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A or B commercial trucks to deliver freight to customers in a timely manner.
- Conduct comprehensive pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and document findings.
- Load and unload cargo, ensuring proper securing and handling procedures are followed.
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and paperwork in compliance with DOT regulations.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers to ensure smooth operations.
- Perform routine vehicle maintenance checks and report mechanical issues.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) required.
- Clean driving record with no major violations in the last 3 years.
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical examination.
- Minimum 1 year of driving experience (Entry Level candidates with strong aptitude are encouraged to apply).
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Ability to read maps and use GPS systems effectively.
- Strong customer service and time management skills.
