Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial motor vehicles (CMVs) in accordance with FMCSA regulations and company policies.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety and compliance.
- Load and unload cargo, securing it properly to prevent damage during transit.
- Follow designated routes and delivery schedules to meet customer deadlines.
- Maintain accurate logs (ELD) and electronic daily inspection reports (DVIR).
- Provide exceptional customer service at delivery and pickup locations.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and wear required personal protective equipment (PPE).
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) Class A required (or ability to obtain one).
- Must be at least 21 years of age for interstate driving.
- Clean driving record (MVR) with no more than 3 moving violations in the last 3 years.
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical examination.
- Willingness to undergo a background check and drug screen.
- Basic math and reading comprehension skills.
- Strong work ethic and the ability to work independently.
