Responsibilities
- Operate commercial vehicles (Class A or Class B) in a safe, legal, and professional manner.
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure compliance with DOT regulations.
- Load and unload cargo safely, ensuring proper securing and weight distribution.
- Maintain accurate logs (DVIR) and adhere to all traffic laws and company policies.
- Provide exceptional customer service during pickups and deliveries.
- Keep the vehicle interior and exterior clean and well-maintained.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch regarding delays or route changes.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL): Class A or Class B required (CDL Class A preferred).
- Driving Record: Clean MVR (Motor Vehicle Record) with no major violations within the last 3 years.
- Documentation: Current DOT medical card and valid DOT physical.
- Experience: Entry-level candidates are welcome; experienced drivers with specific regional routes preferred.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, sit for extended periods, and pass a DOT physical examination.
- Communication: Strong verbal communication skills and the ability to use handheld devices for navigation.
- Eligibility: Must be eligible to work in the United States and pass a background check.
