Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure 100% compliance with Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations.
- Safely operate commercial motor vehicles to transport freight efficiently and securely.
- Load and unload cargo, ensuring proper weight distribution and securement.
- Maintain accurate logs and documentation in accordance with FMCSA regulations.
- Uphold a professional image while interacting with customers and the public.
- Adhere strictly to all traffic laws and company safety policies.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A required (out-of-state licenses considered).
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Must possess a clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) with no more than 3 minor violations in the last 3 years.
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical examination and a pre-employment drug screen.
- Strong communication skills and a commitment to safety-first driving.
- Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including nights and weekends if necessary.
