Responsibilities
- Operate commercial Class A trucks safely and efficiently on assigned regional routes.
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections (DVIR) to ensure compliance and safety standards.
- Load and unload freight using proper equipment and safe lifting techniques.
- Maintain accurate electronic logging device (ELD) records and adhere to all FMCSA regulations.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers to ensure timely delivery.
- Keep the cargo area and truck exterior clean and organized.
- Follow all traffic laws and company safety policies at all times.
Qualifications
- Must possess a valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A (or be willing to obtain one through our training program).
- Must have a clean driving record with no more than one moving violation in the last 3 years.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical examination.
- Basic math skills and proficiency with navigation systems/GPS.
- Strong commitment to safety and customer service excellence.
