Responsibilities
- Operate commercial vehicles safely and efficiently to deliver freight to various destinations in the San Francisco Bay Area.
- Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure compliance with safety regulations.
- Load and unload cargo securely, ensuring proper weight distribution and handling of materials.
- Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, miles traveled, and delivery statuses (electronic logging devices).
- Interact professionally with customers and warehouse personnel to ensure high-quality service.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, company policies, and Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A required. (Class B candidates with endorsements will be considered).
- Must possess a clean driving record with no more than two moving violations in the past three years.
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) drug and alcohol screen and background check.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently.
- Willingness to undergo training for entry-level drivers.
