Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles over various distances and terrains in compliance with federal and state regulations.
- Load and unload cargo securely, ensuring weight distribution and safety protocols are met.
- Complete required documentation accurately, including delivery receipts, bills of lading, and daily logs.
- Maintain vehicle cleanliness and safety through regular pre-trip and post-trip inspections.
- Adhere to traffic laws and maintain a clean driving record to ensure the safety of our team and cargo.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery schedules and any potential delays.
Qualifications
- Valid CDL Class A License required (we offer paid training for those with a clean driving record and commercial interest).
- Clean DMV Abstract with no major violations in the last 3-5 years.
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical examination and drug screen.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Strong time management and problem-solving skills.
- Willingness to work flexible hours and occasional weekends if necessary.
