Responsibilities
- Safely operate a commercial Class A tractor-trailer on interstate and local routes.
- Ensure timely delivery of freight from New York to California.
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
- Complete all necessary paperwork, including logbooks and delivery receipts, accurately and on time.
- Maintain a clean driving record and adhere to all FMCSA regulations.
- Load and unload cargo using proper safety equipment.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver’s License (Class A) issued by the state.
- Must be 21 years of age or older.
- Clean driving record (no more than 2 moving violations in the last 3 years).
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical exam.
- Strong commitment to safety and customer service.
- Ability to work flexible hours and meet tight delivery schedules.
