Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial Class A trucks in all weather conditions.
- Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure compliance with DOT regulations.
- Load and unload cargo using forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks.
- Maintain accurate delivery logs (DVIR) and delivery paperwork.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, company safety policies, and routing schedules.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery status.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) required (we can assist with training if needed).
- Clean driving record (MVR) with no more than 3 moving violations in the last 3 years.
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical exam.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Basic math skills for cargo weighing and documentation.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
