Responsibilities
- Operate commercial Class A trucks in a safe and efficient manner.
- Load and unload freight using hand trucks, pallet jacks, and lifting straps.
- Inspect the vehicle for mechanical issues and report any defects.
- Adhere to all Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations and company safety policies.
- Complete daily logbooks, delivery receipts, and paperwork accurately.
- Maintain a clean driving record and professional appearance.
Qualifications
- Must possess a valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) before starting employment.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Clean driving record (MVR check required).
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) drug screen and background check.
- Basic math skills and attention to detail for paperwork.
- Ability to work flexible hours and weekends as needed.
