Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial motor vehicles (CMVs) in a professional and courteous manner.
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
- Maintain accurate electronic logging device (ELD) records and delivery logs.
- Load and unload cargo using proper equipment (forklift, pallet jack, etc.) when required.
- Adhere strictly to all Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations and company safety policies.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch, customers, and team members.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with a clean driving record.
- Must be at least 21 years of age for interstate commerce.
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical examination and drug screen.
- Strong reading and math skills for cargo documentation.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays if necessary.
- Basic computer literacy is preferred.
