Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial motor vehicles to deliver freight to designated locations within the Atlanta metro area and beyond.
- Conduct thorough pre-trip, en-route, and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure compliance with DOT regulations.
- Secure cargo properly using straps, chains, and binders to prevent damage during transit.
- Complete all required paperwork accurately, including bills of lading, delivery receipts, and logbooks (ELD).
- Maintain a clean and professional appearance while representing the company brand.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company safety policies at all times.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with a clean driving record.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Current DOT Medical Examiner's Certificate.
- Ability to pass a criminal background check and drug screen.
- Basic math skills for making change and reading scales.
- Must have a valid driver's license and good communication skills.
