Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial Class A delivery trucks on assigned routes.
- Load and unload cargo using pallet jacks, dollies, and manual labor.
- Verify delivery addresses and obtain signatures from recipients.
- Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
- Maintain a clean and organized cab and cargo area.
- Report any vehicle maintenance needs or accidents immediately.
- Adhere to all Department of Transportation (DOT) and company safety regulations.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) required.
- Current DOT Medical Card.
- Minimum of 1 year of verifiable driving experience preferred (Entry level candidates with clean records considered).
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Basic English reading and comprehension skills.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
- Strong customer service and time management skills.
