Responsibilities
- Operate heavy dump trucks in a safe, efficient, and legal manner at all times.
- Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure mechanical integrity.
- Load and unload construction materials (concrete, gravel, dirt) using skid steers or forklifts as needed.
- Maintain accurate daily logbooks and electronic logging devices (ELD) in strict compliance with FMCSA regulations.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, site safety protocols, and company policies.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch, site supervisors, and crew members.
- Keep the cab and truck bed clean and organized.
Qualifications
- Valid CDL Class A (or B with appropriate endorsements) with a clean driving record.
- Previous experience in heavy construction or commercial driving is a plus but not required for our paid training program.
- Ability to pass a comprehensive background check and drug screen.
- Physically fit to perform heavy lifting, bending, and operate heavy machinery.
- Willingness to undergo paid on-the-job training and certification.
- Strong work ethic, reliability, and punctuality.
