Responsibilities
- Operate heavy dump trucks and commercial vehicles safely and efficiently on various job sites.
- Load and unload materials (concrete, sand, gravel) using proper safety equipment and techniques.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure compliance with safety regulations.
- Maintain a clean and organized cab and truck bed, adhering to company and DOT standards.
- Follow all traffic laws and route instructions provided by dispatch to ensure timely deliveries.
- Communicate effectively with site supervisors and crew members regarding load placement and safety hazards.
Qualifications
- Valid CDL Class A or Class B with Tanker endorsement (or willingness to obtain via paid training).
- Clean driving record with no major traffic violations.
- Physically fit and able to pass a drug screen and background check.
- Experience with dump trucks or heavy construction equipment is a plus but not required.
- Ability to work in varying weather conditions and adhere to strict safety protocols.
- Strong commitment to punctuality and time management.
