Responsibilities
- Safely operate dump trucks and heavy equipment on various job sites throughout Cincinnati and surrounding areas.
- Load and unload materials, ensuring proper weight distribution and safety protocols are followed.
- Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to maintain mechanical safety.
- Complete electronic logging device (ELD) reports accurately and on time.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and site supervisors regarding schedules and traffic conditions.
- Maintain a clean and organized truck cab and trailer at all times.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with a clean driving record.
- Previous experience operating dump trucks or heavy haul vehicles is highly preferred.
- Ability to pass a drug screen and background check.
- Strong understanding of DOT regulations and safety compliance.
- Physically capable of lifting heavy loads and working in various weather conditions.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including overtime, as needed.
