Responsibilities
- Safely operate dump trucks and heavy equipment on construction sites and public roads
- Transport construction materials (gravel, asphalt, debris) between job sites and disposal facilities
- Pre-trip/post-trip inspections and basic equipment maintenance reporting
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation per DOT/FMCSA regulations
- Collaborate with foremen and site coordinators for efficient routing and scheduling
- Adhere to strict safety standards and company operational procedures
- Support loading/unloading operations at various job sites
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years of dump truck or heavy equipment operation experience
- DOT medical certification and ability to pass pre-employment drug screen
- Knowledge of Atlanta metro area routes and construction zones
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in various weather conditions
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety compliance
- Reliable transportation and punctuality for early morning starts
