Responsibilities
- Safely operate dump trucks to transport construction materials across Jersey City and surrounding areas
- Conduct thorough pre-trip/post-trip inspections and maintenance checks
- Load/unload materials at job sites with precision and efficiency
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and DOT compliance documentation
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company safety protocols
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and site supervisors
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B CDL license (required)
- Minimum 2 years dump truck experience
- Clean MVR with no major violations in past 3 years
- Ability to pass pre-employment drug screening
- Basic mechanical knowledge for troubleshooting
- Strong spatial awareness and navigation skills
- Physical ability to perform manual loading/unloading tasks
