Responsibilities
- Safely operate dump trucks to transport construction materials (dirt, gravel, asphalt) to job sites
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections, documenting maintenance needs
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and paperwork for each assignment
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations and company safety protocols
- Coordinate with dispatch team to optimize delivery routes and timelines
- Assist with basic equipment maintenance and minor repairs as needed
- Represent the company professionally at all client sites
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL license with clean driving record
- Minimum 1 year commercial driving experience
- DOT medical certification current and in good standing
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in various weather conditions
- Strong knowledge of Baton Rouge metro area and surrounding regions
- Must pass pre-employment drug screen and background check
- Experience with dump trucks and/or construction materials preferred
- Ability to work flexible hours including early mornings and weekends as needed
