Responsibilities
- Safely operate dump trucks and other heavy equipment on construction sites and public roads
- Transport construction materials (gravel, sand, asphalt) to designated locations
- Conduct pre-trip inspections and maintain accurate vehicle maintenance logs
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations and company safety protocols
- Collaborate with site supervisors and ground crews for efficient loading/unloading
- Manage delivery documentation and billing paperwork
- Maintain clean and compliant equipment during operations
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years of commercial driving experience
- DOT medical certification and current physical exam
- Proven ability to operate heavy equipment in urban environments
- Strong knowledge of Minneapolis metro area routes and traffic patterns
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in various weather conditions
- OSHA 10-hour construction certification preferred
- Must pass background check and drug screening
