Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles on assigned routes throughout the Seattle area.
- Load and unload freight, ensuring cargo is secured properly.
- Interact professionally with customers, handling deliveries and confirming receipts.
- Maintain accurate daily logs and vehicle inspection reports (DVIR).
- Adhere to all DOT, FMCSA, and company safety regulations at all times.
- Perform routine vehicle maintenance checks and report any mechanical issues.
- Manage time efficiently to meet delivery schedules and customer promises.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A required.
- Must possess a clean driving record (MVR) with no major violations in the last 3-5 years.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of verifiable commercial driving experience preferred.
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical examination.
- Basic computer skills for logging and reporting.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including early mornings and weekends as needed.
