Responsibilities
- Safely operate dump trucks and related heavy equipment on construction sites and public roads
- Perform daily vehicle inspections and pre-trip safety checks
- Load/unload construction materials (gravel, asphalt, demolition debris) at job sites
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations and company safety protocols
- Coordinate with foremen and dispatch for efficient route planning
- Perform minor equipment maintenance and report mechanical issues
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years' experience operating dump trucks or heavy haul equipment
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Strong understanding of weight distribution and load securement
- Basic mechanical knowledge for troubleshooting common equipment issues
- Flexibility to work early mornings, evenings, and weekends as needed
- Excellent communication skills and team-oriented mindset
- Must be at least 21 years of age
