Responsibilities
- Safely operate dump trucks and heavy equipment on construction sites and highways
- Transport materials including gravel, sand, and demolition debris
- Perform pre-trip inspections and routine maintenance checks
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and safety documentation
- Adhere to all DOT regulations and company safety protocols
- Collaborate with site supervisors and team members for efficient operations
- Ensure timely deliveries while maintaining load security and vehicle stability
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years dump truck or heavy equipment experience
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Strong knowledge of Kansas City metro area routes
- Experience with electronic logging systems (ELD)
- OSHA 10-hour certification preferred
- Ability to work flexible hours including early mornings and weekends
- Basic mechanical troubleshooting skills
