Responsibilities
- Safely operate box trucks (24-26ft) for regional freight delivery
- Maintain compliance with DOT regulations and pre/post-trip inspections
- Optimize delivery routes using provided GPS technology
- Communicate shipment status via real-time tracking systems
- Coordinate with dispatch teams for efficient load planning
- Manage documentation (BOLs, invoices, delivery confirmations)
- Uphold exceptional customer service standards at all delivery points
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years box truck or commercial driving experience
- Valid Class B CDL with clean driving record (no DUIs in past 5 years)
- DOT medical certification and required endorsements
- Reliable box truck (2010 or newer) with current registration
- Proof of commercial auto insurance ($1M liability minimum)
- Proficiency with electronic logging devices (ELD)
- Strong time management and problem-solving abilities
