Responsibilities
- Operate Dump Trucks: Safely drive and operate heavy-duty dump trucks to transport soil, gravel, asphalt, and construction materials to designated sites.
- Load and Unload: Ensure materials are loaded and unloaded efficiently and securely, adhering to weight limits and safety regulations.
- Maintain Equipment: Perform routine pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure the truck is in optimal working condition; report any mechanical issues immediately.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all traffic laws, OSHA regulations, and company safety protocols to ensure a accident-free workplace.
- Remote Planning: Utilize our remote dispatch system to review daily routes, schedules, and delivery logs from the comfort of your home office before heading out.
- Customer Service: Interact professionally with site managers and clients to ensure satisfaction and accurate deliveries.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate logs, delivery receipts, and mileage records as required by federal and state regulations.
Qualifications
- CDL Required: Valid Commercial Driver’s License (Class A or B) with appropriate endorsements.
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience operating dump trucks or heavy hauling vehicles.
- Clean Record: A satisfactory Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) with no major violations within the last 3 years.
- Remote Setup: Access to a reliable high-speed internet connection and a quiet workspace for remote dispatch duties.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to lift heavy loads, work in various weather conditions, and perform physical labor.
- Communication: Strong verbal communication skills and ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
