Responsibilities
- Safely operate heavy dump trucks on various construction and excavation sites.
- Load, transport, and unload materials such as sand, gravel, dirt, and asphalt.
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure equipment safety.
- Maintain accurate logbooks and adhere to all DOT and state regulations.
- Communicate effectively with site supervisors and crew members to ensure project efficiency.
- Ensure timely delivery of materials to designated locations.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or Class B CDL (Hazmat endorsement preferred but not required).
- Clean driving record (MVR) with no serious violations.
- Proven experience driving dump trucks or heavy construction vehicles.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Physical stamina to lift materials and work in all weather conditions.
- Strong knowledge of traffic laws and safety protocols.
