Responsibilities
- Safely operate dump trucks and heavy equipment at construction sites, quarries, and industrial facilities
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance
- Transport construction materials including gravel, sand, asphalt, and demolition debris
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation for all hauls
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations and company safety protocols
- Collaborate with site supervisors and team members for efficient operations
- Perform minor vehicle maintenance and report mechanical issues promptly
Qualifications
- Valid California Class A or B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) or willingness to obtain during paid training
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Basic mechanical aptitude and understanding of vehicle operations
- Strong commitment to workplace safety and regulatory compliance
- Ability to work in various weather conditions and physically demanding environments
- Must be at least 21 years old with clean driving record
- Willingness to complete paid CDL training program (8-12 weeks)
