Responsibilities
- Safely operate dump trucks to transport construction materials, aggregates, and waste
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure compliance
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation for each haul
- Adhere strictly to traffic laws, safety protocols, and company procedures
- Collaborate with site supervisors and team members for efficient loading/unloading
- Perform basic vehicle maintenance checks and report mechanical issues
- Support warehouse operations when not actively driving
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) or willingness to obtain
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Basic mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
- Strong work ethic and punctuality
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in various weather conditions
- Willingness to complete paid on-the-job training program
- Clean driving record (no major violations in past 3 years)
