Responsibilities
- Operate dump trucks to transport loose materials (sand, gravel, dirt, asphalt) to and from construction sites.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance.
- Maintain accurate logbooks and daily driver reports.
- Load and unload materials efficiently using winches and manual labor.
- Adhere to all safety regulations and traffic laws at all times.
- Maintain a clean and orderly cab and truck bed.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with a clean driving record.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience operating dump trucks in a professional setting.
- Ability to pass a drug screen and background check.
- Familiarity with DOT regulations and hours-of-service rules.
- Physically capable of lifting heavy loads and working in varying weather conditions.
- Strong communication skills and teamwork mentality.
