Responsibilities
- Operate heavy dump trucks to transport soil, rock, sand, and construction materials to and from job sites.
- Load and unload materials safely using excavators, loaders, or skid steers.
- Maintain daily logs and ensure compliance with all Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and mechanical integrity.
- Adhere to strict safety protocols and traffic laws to ensure a safe working environment.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) Class A or B with a clean driving record.
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience operating dump trucks in a commercial setting.
- Ability to read and understand maps, blueprints, and traffic patterns.
- Strong understanding of safety regulations and heavy machinery operation.
- Willingness to work in various weather conditions and irregular hours.
