Responsibilities
- Transport construction materials (dirt, gravel, asphalt) to job sites across Miami-Dade County
- Conduct pre-trip inspections and document vehicle maintenance
- Ensure safe loading/unloading operations using hydraulic controls
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and compliance paperwork
- Adapt routes based on real-time traffic and site conditions
- Collaborate with foremen and project managers for timely deliveries
- Follow all FMCSA and Florida DOT regulations
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL license with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years commercial dump truck experience
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs and operate heavy machinery
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Knowledge of Miami area traffic patterns and construction sites
- Flexible availability including early mornings, nights, and weekends
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
