Responsibilities
- Safely operate dump trucks for material transport on construction and municipal sites
- Perform daily vehicle inspections and pre/post-trip safety checks
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations and company safety protocols
- Coordinate with dispatch teams for efficient route planning and delivery
- Maintain accurate logs and documentation of transport activities
- Assist with minor equipment maintenance and troubleshooting
- Provide excellent customer service to on-site supervisors and clients
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- Minimum 2 years verifiable dump truck experience
- Clean MVR with no major violations in past 3 years
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in varying weather conditions
- Pass pre-employment drug screen and background check
- Familiarity with Virginia Beach construction zones and routes
- Basic mechanical knowledge for equipment troubleshooting
- Strong communication and time management skills
