Responsibilities
- Operate dump trucks safely to transport construction materials, debris, and aggregates
- Conduct pre-trip inspections and maintain accurate vehicle logs
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations and company safety protocols
- Load/unload materials at job sites using hydraulic systems
- Perform basic equipment troubleshooting and report maintenance needs
- Maintain clean and organized truck interiors and exteriors
- Collaborate with site supervisors for timely deliveries
Qualifications
- Valid Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with Hazmat endorsement preferred
- Minimum 2 years' dump truck or heavy equipment operation experience
- Clean MVR with no major violations in past 3 years
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Familiarity with Tampa Bay area roadways and construction sites
- Strong mechanical aptitude and basic troubleshooting skills
- Physical ability to climb equipment and lift up to 50 lbs
- Reliable transportation to our St. Petersburg depot
