Responsibilities
- Safely operate dump trucks to transport construction materials (dirt, asphalt, gravel) to job sites
- Perform daily pre-trip/post-trip inspections and report maintenance needs
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and electronic tracking records
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations and company safety protocols
- Collaborate with dispatch team for timely route optimization
- Secure loads and ensure proper weight distribution during transit
- Assist with basic equipment troubleshooting and minor repairs
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- Minimum 2 years dump truck or heavy equipment experience
- Clean MVR with no major violations in past 3 years
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Familiarity with local Stockton/San Joaquin County routes
- Basic mechanical knowledge of heavy equipment
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work in various weather conditions
