Responsibilities
- Safely operate dump trucks to transport construction materials, dirt, and debris to designated sites
- Perform pre-trip inspections and basic maintenance checks to ensure vehicle safety
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and paperwork for all hauls and material transfers
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations and company safety protocols at all times
- Collaborate with site supervisors to coordinate efficient loading/unloading operations
- Manage route planning to optimize delivery times and fuel efficiency
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years of dump truck or heavy equipment operation experience
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening requirements
- Strong knowledge of St. Louis metropolitan area and surrounding regions
- Excellent time management and communication skills
- Ability to work in various weather conditions and physical environments
- Basic mechanical troubleshooting skills preferred
