Responsibilities
- Safely operate dump trucks for material transport (gravel, sand, asphalt) at construction sites and quarries
- Perform daily pre-trip inspections and maintenance documentation
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and trip reports
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations and company safety protocols
- Coordinate with dispatch team for efficient route planning
- Assist with loading/unloading operations at job sites
- Represent Desert Transport Solutions professionally with clients
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with clean driving record (no major violations in past 3 years)
- Minimum 2 years' commercial dump truck experience
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Strong knowledge of Phoenix metro area and surrounding regions
- Basic equipment troubleshooting skills
- Flexibility to work variable shifts (early mornings, weekends)
- Heavy equipment operation certification preferred
- Must be 25+ years old for insurance compliance
