Responsibilities
- Operate dump trucks to transport soil, gravel, sand, and other materials to and from construction sites.
- Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety compliance.
- Load and unload materials efficiently while adhering to safety protocols.
- Maintain a clean driving record and strictly follow all DOT and company regulations.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and site supervisors regarding schedules and delivery requirements.
- Keep the truck and trailer clean and organized.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with Tanker and Hazmat endorsements preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of verifiable commercial driving experience.
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical examination.
- Strong knowledge of traffic laws and safety regulations.
- Physically fit with the ability to lift heavy loads and perform manual tasks.
- Must reside within a reasonable commuting distance of Nashville, TN.
