Responsibilities
- Operate dump trucks safely and efficiently on construction sites and public roads
- Transport sand, gravel, asphalt, and other bulk materials to designated locations
- Conduct daily pre-trip inspections and maintain vehicle maintenance logs
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations and company safety protocols
- Coordinate with dispatch team and clients for accurate delivery scheduling
- Load/unload materials using proper techniques and equipment
- Document delivery receipts and maintain accurate records
Qualifications
- Valid Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with air brake endorsement
- Minimum 2 years of dump truck driving experience
- Clean driving record with no major violations in past 3 years
- Ability to pass pre-employment drug screening and background check
- Knowledge of Virginia Beach area and surrounding regions
- Physical ability to climb in/out of equipment and handle heavy materials
- Basic mechanical knowledge for troubleshooting minor issues
- Strong commitment to workplace safety and environmental compliance
