Responsibilities
- Operate dump trucks to transport materials to and from job sites efficiently and safely.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure equipment is in safe operating condition.
- Load and unload materials (asphalt, dirt, gravel) using proper loading techniques.
- Maintain accurate logs and adhere to all Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations and company policies.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and site supervisors to coordinate schedules and loads.
- Keep the cab and truck bed clean and organized at all times.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or Class B Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with required endorsements.
- Minimum of 2 years of verifiable experience operating dump trucks in a commercial setting.
- Excellent driving record with no major violations in the past 3 years.
- Ability to pass a comprehensive background check and drug screen.
- Physically fit to perform the duties of the job, including lifting and climbing.
- Willingness to work in various weather conditions and adhere to strict safety protocols.
