Responsibilities
- Safely operate dump trucks and heavy equipment on construction sites and public roads
- Load/unload materials including gravel, sand, and demolition debris
- Perform pre/post-trip inspections and document vehicle conditions
- Maintain strict adherence to safety protocols and DOT regulations
- Coordinate with dispatchers and site supervisors for efficient operations
- Manage daily trip logs and delivery documentation
- Assist in minor equipment maintenance troubleshooting
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- Minimum 2 years commercial dump truck driving experience
- Clean driving record with no DUI/DWI convictions
- Ability to pass pre-employment drug screening and background check
- Familiarity with Anchorage roadways and construction zones
- Basic mechanical knowledge for equipment troubleshooting
- Strong commitment to workplace safety standards
- Ability to work in variable weather conditions
