Responsibilities
- Safely operate dump trucks for material transport (gravel, asphalt, construction debris)
- Perform daily pre-trip inspections and vehicle maintenance checks
- Adhere to strict safety protocols and DOT regulations
- Coordinate with dispatchers for efficient route planning
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and paperwork
- Assist with loading/unloading operations at job sites
- Represent company professionally with clients and contractors
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- Minimum 2 years dump truck driving experience
- Clean MVR and ability to pass background/drug screening
- Familiarity with Portland metro area and Oregon DOT regulations
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work in all weather conditions
- Strong communication and time-management skills
- HAZMAT certification preferred (training provided if needed)
