Responsibilities
- Safely operate dump trucks to transport construction materials, gravel, asphalt, and demolition debris
- Perform pre-trip inspections and routine vehicle maintenance checks
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations and company safety protocols
- Load/unload materials efficiently using proper equipment techniques
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation
- Collaborate with dispatchers and site supervisors for timely deliveries
- Manage minor on-site repairs and report maintenance issues promptly
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years dump truck operation experience
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Strong knowledge of Kansas City metro area routes and traffic patterns
- OSHA 10-hour construction certification preferred
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in varying weather conditions
- Excellent time management and communication skills
- Must be at least 23 years old with 2+ years licensed driving experience
