Responsibilities
- Safely operate dump trucks for material transport on construction sites
- Conduct pre/post-trip inspections and maintain daily vehicle logs
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations and company safety protocols
- Coordinate with foremen on material delivery schedules and site requirements
- Maintain clean driving record and report maintenance needs promptly
- Assist with basic equipment troubleshooting when needed
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with clean driving record (no DUIs in past 5 years)
- 2+ years dump truck or heavy equipment operation experience
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Familiarity with Dallas/Fort Worth metro area roadways
- Basic mechanical knowledge for equipment safety checks
- OSHA 10-hour construction certification preferred
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and work in outdoor conditions
