Responsibilities
- Operate dump trucks safely on construction sites and public roads
- Perform pre/post-trip inspections and complete vehicle maintenance logs
- Load/unload materials using hydraulic controls and proper safety protocols
- Maintain clean driving record and comply with DOT regulations
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and site supervisors
- Assist in basic equipment troubleshooting when needed
- Support winter road maintenance operations during seasonal months
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- Minimum 2 years dump truck experience
- Clean MVR with no major violations in past 3 years
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Experience with construction site safety protocols
- Basic knowledge of material types (gravel, asphalt, etc.)
- Physical ability to climb equipment and work in varying weather
- Must be 25+ years old for insurance compliance
