Responsibilities
- Safely operate dump trucks for material transport to/from construction sites
- Conduct pre/post-trip inspections and maintain accurate vehicle logs
- Ensure compliance with DOT regulations and company safety protocols
- Coordinate with site supervisors for efficient loading/unloading operations
- Maintain clean, well-functioning equipment through routine maintenance checks
- Assist in maintaining accurate delivery documentation and billing records
- Support emergency response operations during weather-related disruptions
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- Minimum 2 years commercial driving experience
- Clean MVR with no major violations in past 3 years
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work in outdoor conditions
- Knowledge of Tampa Bay area roadways and construction zones
- DOT medical certification and required training certificates
- Background check and drug screen required
