Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles for regional routes within New Orleans and surrounding areas
- Perform daily pre/post-trip inspections and maintenance documentation
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations and company safety protocols
- Manage efficient delivery schedules while maintaining exceptional customer service
- Load/unload freight with proper equipment handling techniques
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and electronic records
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL license with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Strong knowledge of Louisiana roadways and navigation systems
- Excellent time management and problem-solving skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly
- Previous hazmat endorsement preferred
