Responsibilities
- Safely operate dump trucks to transport construction materials to job sites
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety compliance
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation for each haul
- Collaborate with site supervisors to coordinate loading/unloading schedules
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations and company safety protocols
- Perform basic maintenance checks and report mechanical issues promptly
- Assist in maintaining clean and organized trucking equipment
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- Minimum 2 years of commercial driving experience
- Clean driving record with no major violations in past 3 years
- Ability to obtain DOT medical certification
- Strong knowledge of Omaha metro area routes and traffic patterns
- Physical ability to handle heavy materials and outdoor working conditions
- Basic mechanical aptitude for troubleshooting common truck issues
- Ability to pass mandatory drug and background screenings
