Responsibilities
- Operate delivery vehicles (vans/trucks) to transport goods to residential and commercial destinations in the San Francisco area.
- Load and unload packages safely and efficiently, ensuring proper handling of fragile items.
- Verify delivery contents against manifests to ensure accuracy.
- Interact professionally with customers, answering questions and resolving issues on the spot.
- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the delivery vehicle at all times.
- Complete daily vehicle inspection reports and log mileage accurately.
- Navigate traffic and adhere to all local traffic laws and safety regulations.
Qualifications
- A valid Class C Driver’s License with a clean driving record (no DUIs or major violations in the last 3 years).
- Minimum of 1 year of verifiable driving experience in a professional setting.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
- Physically capable of lifting packages weighing up to 50-70 pounds repeatedly throughout the shift.
- Basic computer literacy for entering delivery data.
- Strong time management skills with the ability to meet strict delivery windows.
- Excellent communication skills and a customer-focused attitude.
