Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles for regional and long-haul freight transportation
- Perform pre-trip inspections and ensure vehicle maintenance compliance
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations and company safety protocols
- Manage accurate delivery documentation and electronic logging
- Optimize routes for on-time delivery while prioritizing safety
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery status
- Represent the company professionally at client sites and during transit
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with clean driving record (no major violations in past 3 years)
- Minimum 2 years verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and climb into trailer beds
- Pass thorough background check and drug screening
- Strong knowledge of DOT regulations and safety standards
- Proficiency with electronic logging devices and GPS navigation
- Ability to work flexible schedules including nights and weekends
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
